Our Financial Policy
Our fees are based on the materials we use and our experience in performing your needed treatment. To facilitate our goals, we have developed the following options.

Payment of deductibles, co-payments, and non-covered procedure fees are expected at the time of service. We accept personal checks, cash, Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We also offer monthly payment financing through Care Credit, OAC. www.carecredit.com

We offer a 5% courtesy for your payment in full at the time of service when using cash, check or credit cards. Due to the fees imposed by Care Credit, we cannot offer this courtesy when utilizing this financing option. For our senior patients (age 60 and over), we offer an additional 10% courtesy for payment in full at the time of service.

Insurance
Your dental insurance can be an important benefit provided by your employer. As you know the would of dental insurance can be confusing. The good news is that the Valley Dental Clinic front office staff is knowledgeable on most insurance plans. We will st rive to do everything possible to help you to understand and make the most of your dental benefits.

You may be surprised to know that dentists are not involved in determining the terms of your dental benefits, including procedures your insurer will cover, or at what fee allowed amount. Dental insurance is actually a contract negotiated between your employer and the insurance company providing the dental benefits, not your dental office.

The goal of most dental insurance policies is to provide only basic care for specific dental services. It is important to understand that the dental benefits you receive from the insurance company have nothing to do with your individual needs or achieving the best results. Many services needed for your dental health may not be covered.

As a courtesy, our office will complete and submit your insurance forms to achieve the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitles. Please do remember, however, that ultimately you are responsible for all expenses incurred. We urge you to read and review your dental policy so that you are fully aware of your insurance coverage. We are not a preferred provider for any insurance company. This in turn does not let insurance companies dictate our fees or restrict treatment options, depriving patients of the treatment necessary for optimal dental health.
